"Healing rarely begins by touching the wound, Healing usually begins by touching the parts of us that have protected us from feeling the pain of the wound."

Emily's Style of Practice:
For Emily, working in services of others has always felt like home. Having walked both sides of the mental health system – as a patient and as a professional – there is a knowing in her bones that each path is sacred and uniquely its own. The experiences that brought her into this moment are hers alone, just as yours are yours.
This is not a space for judgment or criticism. The versions of yourself that you created to survive – to shield yourself from pain – were never wrong. They were acts of wisdom, of protection, of love for your own life, even when it didn’t feel like love.
Here, your suffering – both physical and emotional – will be held with care. This is a space to lay down what feels too heavy to carry alone. Together, we will walk you back home to yourself, using whatever tools feel gentle and true for you. The ones shared here are simply offerings I have gathered on my own journey, for you to pick up if and when you choose.
The greatest gift you can give yourself is to honour what it took to get here. To remember that you were never broken. You were whole to begin with. It was other people – and the systems you lived under – that taught you to believe otherwise.
This work is not about fixing you. It is about guiding you softly through your own resurrection – a quiet remembering of who you have always been.
